Nettle is a plant with many medicinal, culinary, and horticultural benefits. It is a stinging plant that can irritate the skin when touched or brushed against. It is therefore very important to wear gloves when handling it. Nettle attracts many pollinators and has excellent fertilizing properties, particularly as a source of nitrogen when made into a nettle fertilizer tea.
