The Ariane pepper is a large pepper that ripens from green to bright dark orange. It has 4 lobes with thick flesh and a sweet and aromatic flavor. It measures 7.5 by 9 cm long. It was developed in Holland, as a tribute to the House of Orange, the royal family of Holland.
