Sweet bicolor tomato, firm flesh, award-winning, prestigious American heirloom variety.

Bicolor tomato with large, marbled, and very sweet fruits. Its firm, pink flesh, free of acidity, has won several culinary competitions in the United States. The yellow fruit develops red and orange hues as it ripens. This heirloom variety was introduced in 1921 in New York under the name *Ruby Gold*. It was later renamed *Gold Medal* by American seedsman Ben Quisenberry in 1976.

**CARE AND OTHER CONSIDERATIONS** Gradually acclimate the plants to outdoor conditions about 10 days before planting by placing them outside during the day. When planting, lay the plants horizontally while gently curving the stem so that the leaves point upward.
