This old variety of eggplant was introduced to the market around the 1910s. It produces abundant and early dark veiled, pear-shaped fruits, measuring approximately 15 cm. This variety has survived the ages and can still be found more than 100 years after its common appearance in the vegetable gardens of amateur gardeners.
