Heirloom Italian tomato, mild flavor, productive clusters, ideal for sauces

Tomato dating back to 1869 according to sources, of Italian type, with a very mild flavor and low juice content. Vigorous, productive plants bearing clusters of 4 to 5 oddly shaped fruits, with pale yellow skin and a slight pink blush. Perfect for tomato paste, sauces, or canning. CARE AND OTHER CONSIDERATIONS Gradually acclimate the plants to outdoor conditions about 10 days before planting by placing them outside during the day. When planting, lay the plants horizontally while gently bending the stem so that the leaves point upward.
